Terms of Service

These terms apply to courier, man & van, next-day & UK delivery, and dedicated vehicle hire services provided by AxisMove Logistics, a trading name of Compound Empire Holdings Ltd (“we”, “us”). By booking a job with us, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and pricing

• Prices shown on our website (for example “from £40” or “from £45/hr”) are starting prices that indicate the order of cost, not a final quote.
• We provide a fixed price for your specific job before the work begins. That agreed price is what you pay, provided the job matches the details you gave us.
• If the job changes on the day — for example additional items, extra stops, waiting time, or access difficulties — we will agree any change with you before proceeding where possible.

Bookings and cancellations

• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the details and price with you, normally in writing by WhatsApp or email.
• If you need to cancel or rearrange, please tell us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.

What we move

We may decline to carry items that are unsafe, illegal, prohibited, perishable, or unsuitable for our vehicle. Please tell us in advance about anything fragile, valuable, hazardous, or unusually heavy so we can plan and price the job correctly.

Insurance and liability

We hold the insurance cover stated on our website and can provide our certificate on request. Our liability for loss or damage is subject to the terms and limits of that policy.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (for example traffic, weather, road closures, or breakdowns), or for items not declared to us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

Proof of delivery

We aim to capture a photo proof of delivery on each job as a record for both you and us.

Payment

Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking. We will tell you the accepted payment methods when we confirm your job.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
